BIO - Marco Vezzoso

Marco Vezzoso is a jazz trumpeter born in Alba (Italy). He graduated from the Conservatory of Turin and attended numerous master classes with some of the most famous Italian and European trumpet players.

Since 2012 he has lived in France where he is professor of jazz trumpet at the National Conservatory of Nice. Since 2018 it is also an official endorser of the Swiss brand SPADA, artisan manufacturer of high quality trumpets and flugelhorns.

Over the years he has performed in the most important European festivals as a leader, sideman, arranger, director of big band, conductor of various ensembles, between jazz and classic music.

He actively collaborates with the Italy’s National broadcasting company RAI of Rome for which he composes the song “Resta in camera Bi “, theme song of the program “Tra Poco in Edicola” broadcasted by Radio RAI 1.

In 2015, the Japanese label Davinci Editions records and publishes his concert held in Osaka, with distribution Egea. To promote this latest album and his musical universe, between August and September 2017 the artist, accompanied by pianist Alessandro Collina, made a tour of Cambodia, Indonesia and Japan for a total of 16 concerts. During 2018, for the promotion of this his album and thanks to the partnership with the brands “Spirit Torino” and “Spada Music”, his “Guarda che Luna Tour” has reached several cities in France, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Czech Republic, enjoying excellent results criticism.

In 2019 he was chosen, with the pianist Alessandro Collina , to represent Italy during the first European jazz festival in Canton.

Marco Vezzoso est un trompettiste de jazz né à Alba (Italie). Il est diplômé du Conservatoire de Turin et a suivi de nombreuses masterclasses avec certains des trompettistes italiens et européens les plus renommés.

Depuis 2012, il vit en France, où il est professeur de trompette jazz au Conservatoire National de Nice. Depuis 2018, il est également endorser officiel de la marque suisse SPADA, fabricant artisanal de trompettes et de bugles de haute qualité.

Au fil des années, il s’est produit dans les plus importants festivals européens en tant que leader, sideman, arrangeur, directeur de big band et chef de divers ensembles, entre jazz et musique classique.

Il collabore activement avec la RAI, la société nationale de radiodiffusion italienne basée à Rome, pour laquelle il a composé le morceau « Resta in camera Bi », générique de l’émission « Tra Poco in Edicola » diffusée sur Radio RAI 1.

En 2018, pour la promotion de cet album et grâce au partenariat avec les marques « Spirit Torino » et « Spada Music », son « Guarda che Luna Tour » a parcouru plusieurs villes en France, en Italie, en Indonésie, en Malaisie, en Chine et en République tchèque, rencontrant un excellent accueil de la critique.

En 2019, il a été choisi, avec le pianiste Alessandro Collina, pour représenter l’Italie lors du premier festival européen de jazz à Canton.

Collabora attivamente con la RAI, emittente radiotelevisiva nazionale italiana con sede a Roma, per la quale ha composto il brano “Resta in camera Bi”, sigla del programma “Tra Poco in Edicola” trasmesso da Radio RAI 1.

Nel 2015 l’etichetta giapponese Davinci Editions ha registrato e pubblicato il suo concerto tenuto a Osaka, con distribuzione Egea. Per promuovere questo album e il suo universo musicale, tra agosto e settembre 2017 l’artista, accompagnato dal pianista Alessandro Collina, ha realizzato una tournée in Cambogia, Indonesia e Giappone per un totale di 16 concerti. Nel corso del 2018, per la promozione di questo album e grazie alla partnership con i marchi “Spirit Torino” e “Spada Music”, il suo “Guarda che Luna Tour” ha toccato diverse città in Francia, Italia, Indonesia, Malesia, Cina e Repubblica Ceca, ottenendo ottimi riscontri dalla critica.

Nel 2019 è stato scelto, insieme al pianista Alessandro Collina, per rappresentare l’Italia durante il primo festival jazz europeo a Canton.
