Marco Vezzoso is a jazz trumpeter born in Alba (Italy). He graduated from the Conservatory of Turin and attended numerous master classes with some of the most famous Italian and European trumpet players.

Since 2012 he has lived in France where he is professor of jazz trumpet at the National Conservatory of Nice. Since 2018 it is also an official endorser of the Swiss brand SPADA, artisan manufacturer of high quality trumpets and flugelhorns.

Over the years he has performed in the most important European festivals as a leader, sideman, arranger, director of big band, conductor of various ensembles, between jazz and classic music.

He actively collaborates with the Italy’s National broadcasting company RAI of Rome for which he composes the song “Resta in camera Bi “, theme song of the program “Tra Poco in Edicola” broadcasted by Radio RAI 1.

In 2015, the Japanese label Davinci Editions records and publishes his concert held in Osaka, with distribution Egea. To promote this latest album and his musical universe, between August and September 2017 the artist, accompanied by pianist Alessandro Collina, made a tour of Cambodia, Indonesia and Japan for a total of 16 concerts. During 2018, for the promotion of this his album and thanks to the partnership with the brands “Spirit Torino” and “Spada Music”, his “Guarda che Luna Tour” has reached several cities in France, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Czech Republic, enjoying excellent results criticism.

In 2019 he was chosen, with the pianist Alessandro Collina , to represent Italy during the first European jazz festival in Canton.
